Plain version: use it to help someone you actually care for, do not put other people's medical information in it without their agreement, and do not rely on it as a medical record. The rest is detail.
It stores and displays what a family has written down. It does not diagnose, monitor, treat, or advise. It is not a substitute for clinical judgement, a hospital record, or calling emergency services.
In an emergency, call emergency services first. Do not wait for a card to load.
You must be 18 or older. By creating a card about another person you are confirming that you have their permission, or that you have the legal authority to act for them, such as being their healthcare proxy or holding power of attorney.
We work to keep the service up, because a card nobody can open is worse than no card. We cannot promise it will always be reachable. Networks fail, providers have outages, and phones run out of battery. Do not build a plan that depends on this being available at the worst moment. Print the wallet card.
What you put in is yours. You give us permission to store and display it in order to run the service, including showing the card-safe parts to anyone holding a link you created. That permission ends when you delete it.
You can stop at any time and ask us to delete everything. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or to harm somebody, and we will say why.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it, including decisions taken on the basis of information in a card. Some places do not allow that exclusion, and where that is true it does not apply to you. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed by agreement.
If we change these terms materially we will tell you in the app before they take effect.
